Preamble for Heal12
OK, I'm running a healer now. First thing I do is drink my blessed potion of extra healing. Holy shit! It's a blessed smoky potion and it contained a djinni! Yep, +2 Grey Dragon Scale Mail. A few levels down I run into a ghost of a wizard. I get a staff (so I can train up for the healer quest toy), a blessed bag of holding, and a spellbook of forcebolt.

Healers are tough, but this is off to a good start. I need to take things slowly and not get greedy. If I'm cautious I should have a chance. Haven't finished the Sokoban or the Mines yet...

Well, I'm a dumbass. Went to the Sokoban and got into a fight. I killed a group of monsters, but it left my HP a little low. There was a spotted jelly off to the side, but instead of healing up, I went over to whack him. Of couse, I got splashed by acid, and died. Did I mention that I had both teleport and teleport control by then?

Crap. That's got to be the best chance I'll ever have as a healer, start the game with +2 grey dragon scale and quickly pick up a good staff and a book of force bolt, plus can teleport out of trouble.
