I decided to give Valkyries another shot - the twist being that I wouldn't use any wishes. So of course one of the first things I find is a magic lamp. Damn.
Starting game
I forgot how easy these guys are. I quickly got some good armor and picked up Mjollnir. I bopped my way to the Sokoban and got the bag of holding. Then I went to the mine and got the luckstone from the bottom. No big challenges. I made it down to Medusa's island, but didn't have any way to levitate. Not yet level 14, so I can't do the quest. I also have found Ft. Ludios. This might be a good idea (normally I skip it), as there are dragons there. I'll need to make myself some scale mail before too much longer.
